Chart notes
SORRENTO SKY (IRE) trailed on the inside into the turn, advanced from the fence then two wide late on the bend, moved out at the eighth pole, rallied three deep in the final sixteenth and edged clear from inner pair near the wire. NO NAY HUDSON (IRE) stalked the top pair up the backstretch, chased in the two path on the turn, was closest in pursuit of the leader with a furlong remaining, bid between rivals late and got outkicked by the winner. VIRAT showed the way up the backstretch outside MESCALERO, cleared that rival at the three-eighths pole, moved over to the rail on the turn, led clear into the final sixteenth but got run down by the top pair. MOTORIOUS (GB) traveled near the back early on, went two wide into the turn, altered to the four path to go outside a trouble MAN O ROSE, continued widest to the stretch, offered a mild response down the lane and earned a minor award. SUMTER sat off the pace outside a pair of rivals, remained three wide to the stretch and needed to find more in the furlong grounds. INCANTO (IRE) got bumped and crowded between rivals early, settled inside after, patiently handled through the turn, roused at the top of the lane, stayed on the fence and could not rally. MESCALERO sent early to force the pace from inside, could not keep up with the leader into the turn, chased along the fence to the stretch, could not rally in the furlong grounds and churned on to the wire. MAN O ROSE broke through the gate, finally pulled nearing the three-eighths pole, came back and reloaded, bumped with INCANTO (IRE) early, tracked two wide then between rivals, checked and drifted out early on the turn, dropped back to last, eased in the lane and walked off.
