Chart notes
GIRLS WEAR PEARLS dueled from inside, put outer rival away at the quarter pole, opened up at the top of the lane, continued with a comfortable lead into the last sixteenth and held safely. DEAR DIARY broke a bit slow, traveled between rivals at the back leaving the backstretch, moved over to the rail once clear of inner rival, split foes in upper stretch, came back to the inside and finished well to gain second and close the gap on the winner. THEBEACHISBACK chased four deep up the backstretch and around the turn, was closest in pursuit of GIRLS WEAR PEARLS into the final furlong, gained late on the winner but got edged for second. CONFETTI RAIN bumped twice in the beginning, sat off the pace staying away from the rail, took the turn four wide and churned on for a minor award. GRAMMY'S GAL broke a bit slow, raced inside a pair of rivals at the rear, got put in a bit tight at the three-eighths pole, steered off the rail, came three wide into the stretch, angled out further in the lane and improved position. LUCILLE B got bumped and crowded leaving the gate, traveled three deep at the back, moved into the two path then angled out and came four wide into the drive but proved no menace. SEA'S NO JOKE chased after the dueling leaders three deep between rivals, raced in the two path turning for home and weakened. CHASEHER chased after the top pair inside a trio of runners, saved ground through the turn and tired. FURIOSITY fought for the lead from outside, could not keep up with the winner late on the turn and retreated. MISS MIDTERM chased between rivals up the backstretch and around the turn, shifted to the three path late on the bend and had little left for the drive.
