Chart notes
BANKER'S JET prompted the pace up the backstretch, engaged rival for the lead leaving the mid-way point around the turn, hustled along three wide into upper stretch, dug in gamely a furlong out, repelled bids and edged away. MUSICAL tracked the early pace, saved ground around the turn, tipped two wide for the drive, advanced into striking distance along the rail but got turned back by the winner. JARVIS JUNCTION was forwardly placed up the backstretch, was ridden three to four wide around the turn, sustained a steady bid down the lane and cleared show. LORD OF RHYMES broke in at the start, raced near midpack, hustled along three to four wide in upper stretch and had no late kick. MAXIMUS steadied at the start, raced off the pace, saved ground around the turn, tipped two wide for the drive and lacked a needed rally. KING NIQUE set a pressured pace up the backstretch, vied with the eventual winner around the turn, ran on into upper stretch then gave way. GRAY TAPS raced just off midpack, was ridden two wide past the quarter pole and failed to move on. UNCLE TATER got carried in at the start and failed to move into contention.
