Chart notes
BUCK'S HOWL reserved along the rail off the leaders, remained patient waiting along the fence through the turn to be the trailer at the top of the lane, spurted through the opening along the fence in upper stretch to quickly take command and draw off late. FROSTY BEER unhurried to be the trailer down the backside, swung out for the drive five wide and put in a grinding bid in the stretch to be up for the place. PATRIOT BLUECHIP prompted the pace to the top of the lane, rallied to loom boldly midway down the lane and was outkicked late. GO SIMPLE set the pace on a well measured lead in hand to the top of the stretch, responded to battle to the eighth pole and gave way in the final furlong. LEE THE CABBY closed the gap from four wide on the turn to be prominently placed and flattened out for the drive.
