Chart notes
GOOD POINT settled saving ground, got through into the stretch, tipped out to find room weaved through traffic rapidly in the final furlong, engulfed the leaders and drew clear late. SCOVILLE stalked the pace three deep, came under a ride into the second turn, ranged into striking distance readily, offered a bold bid entering the stretch, kept on well but was no match for the winner. MOHTAFIL settled off of the inside, looped four wide through the second turn to close the gap, loomed a danger a furlong out but lacked the needed late response. JOCK FROST opened clear to dictate terms, was collared on the second turn, dug in and fought on but grudgingly gave way in the final yards. COASTING BY contended along the inside, shifted out entering the stretch but went evenly through the drive. ROUNDINGTHIRD chased the pace to the outside of the leader through the second turn and gave in. MIDNIGHT TEQUILA went wide and was never a factor.
