Chart notes
EXPONENTIALLY hopped and bumped with BEACHGLASS at the start, readily moved up to track the leader four wide, took over at will before going a half, opened clear and was kept to task to maintain and commanding lead. BEACHGLASS bumped with the winner at the start, stumbled just after the contact and had the jockey lose the outside iron, quickly regained the pedal and settled in hand, mounted a long drive five wide, failed to menace the winner but toiled on to prove second best. EMERALD EYES was unhurried and saved ground, angled out leaving the second turn and finished with a belated improvement. HOLIDAY MUSICAL bobbled at the start, recovered fast and opened clear to dictate terms, was headed midway down the backstretch, stayed on to the second turn and faded. AUNT POL made a middle move to move into contention, but came up empty leaving the second turn and retreated.
