Chart notes
REGATTA BAY raced in the middle of the pack then moved up from three wide on the turn to engage the leader midway through the turn where he drove past and drew clear for the win. NATHAN HENRY tracked the leaders from three wide in the early stages then fell back going into the turn then made a rebid from four wide but was no match for the winner and was second best. FINAL HALF was away alertly to take the clear lead to the turn then was headed midway through the turn but weakened late and held the show. BEACH BLANKET settled in the middle of the pack while saving ground then made a rail bid in the stretch but missed the show. HOOSIER trailed the field to midway through the turn then made a late four wide bid in the stretch to be best of the rest. HMS DIAMOND raced in the middle of the pack but was not a threat. CUNIMBUS was hustled along to chase the pace to the quarter pole before giving way.
