Chart notes
TRIPLE SECRET broke alertly to take command leaving the gate, set the pace on a clear, well measured lead, maintained that advantage to deep stretch and held on late. CHEROKEE CHATTER was hard held in the early going to prompt the pace while turgging, settled on the turn to be well placed, chased the winner under a drive turning for home and surged late to just miss. BUCCHINI stalked the leaders to the head of the lane and failed to gain while running on down the lane. JASMINES WORLD unhurried to race near the rear of the field and put in a mild bid in the lane without impact. RED HOT SPARK went evenly failing to menace. JOYS OF SUMMER was not a factor.
