Chart notes
BLUES MUSIC hopped at the start and off a bit slowly, advanced between rivals approaching the half-mile, chased two wide to the quarter marker, angled to the rail into upper stretch, closed determinedly along the inside into the final sixteenth, dug in late and won the head nod on the wire to prevail. DOMINA D'ORO sent for the early lead, took command and set a pressured pace to the turn, dictated terms to the quarter marker while off of the rail, drifted to the three path to upper stretch then dug in when challenged at the furlong pole, fought gamely to the final sixteenth and was bested for the win in the final strides, while holding safely for second. DIZZY MISS LIZZY rated off of the early pace and tracked from the second flight, was well placed to the turn then loomed four wide nearing the quarter marker, vied for the lead into the stretch, was repelled into the final sixteenth and was clear of the rest for third. NO SOLUTION off slowly and void of early speed, swung widest to upper stretch, mounted a mild late rally but couldn't impact the leaders in the final sixteenth. ROSENVOLD close up to the early pace, pressed from the three path into the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker, couldn't find more to upper stretch then came up empty in the drive. LIGHT MY FLAME forwardly placed away from the gate then shuffled back in the early stages, was outrun to the turn, lacked a response to upper stretch and failed to threaten. FAITHFUL STEPS well placed in the early going, tracked from the inside along the backstretch, saved ground into the turn and chased from the rail nearing the quarter marker, couldn't muster the needed response to upper stretch then weakened in the final furlong. MORE CASH FLOW off very slow, trailed throughout.
