Chart notes

J N J HEARTANDSOUL well placed in the early stages, tracked the pace from the second flight and three to four wide along the backstretch, roused four wide at the quarter pole, bid three wide to upper stretch and responded well in the drive, took command into the final sixteenth and edged away late. TESOURO DE PIRATA hopped then caught in tight and jostled at the start, recovered to be forwardly placed into the first turn, tracked the pace to the backstretch then vied for the lead between foes nearing the half-mile, took command into the far turn, held a clear lead to upper stretch, was collared by the winner at the sixteenth-pole, couldn't match strides late with J N J HEARTANDSOUL and was second best. GIGI'S WORLD broke out at the start then was caught in tight and jostled leaving the gate, settled while saving ground to the backstretch, was caught in tight and checked while on heels entering the far turn, angled out and chased four wide to the stretch, battled to the final sixteenth, couldn't reel in the top pair in deep stretch but got up for third in a good effort. ROARING VIXEN veered out at the start, recovered to contest the early pace from outside of ROYALLY SASSY, disputed the decent pace to the half-mile pole, chased into the far turn then ran in pursuit to upper stretch, couldn't find more in the final furlong and faded in late stages. ROYALLY SASSY veered in at the start, vied for the early lead and disputed the pace with ROARING VIXEN into the backstretch, contested the pace to the half-mile marker then lost ground to the far turn, chased from the inside approaching the top of the lane then gave way in the drive. POEMA a step slow leaving the start, lacked early speed and trailed early on, swung out to be widest along the backstretch, kept a wide path to the far turn then into upper stretch, lacked the needed response in the lane and passed tiring rivals. MINT DRIVEN roughed up at the start and last away from the gate, settled while saving ground, advanced between foes nearing the half-mile, chased while in traffic and two wide nearing the quarter pole, couldn't find more to upper stretch and tired in the drive. ZIGGZAPPA a bit hard to load then fractious prior to the start, settled outside of rivals, shifted in entering the backstretch, trailed to the quarter marker and showed little. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START, AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
