FIELD STUDY chased behind the tracking flight around the first turn, continued to chase midfield down the backstretch, took closer order approaching the far turn, threaded inside of foes around the far turn and joined the tracking flight inside of BLUE CHAIR BAY, came into the stretch just behind MAKI MONARCHY, shifted outside of that foe, drifted out but continued to rally between horses, and got up between foes. MAKI MONARCHY was keen inside, slipped inside of BLUE CHAIR BAY in the first turn to dispute the pace inside of TANGO MIKE MIKE, continued to vie in the leading flight down the backstretch, set the pace while prompted by BLUE CHAIR BAY to his outside into the turn, led into the lane, battled on while drifting out but was just caught. HIGHSTAKES HUSTLER chased inside of PRIMO CANARY through the first turn and as the field stretched out down the back straight, took closer order in tandem with that foe approaching the far turn, was urged around the far turn, swung out five wide into the lane and shifted further out near the center of the course, rallied well and just missed. BLUE CHAIR BAY briefly attended the pace inside of TANGO MIKE MIKE but was supplanted by MAKI MONARCHY to his inside into the first turn and settled back to track that pair inside of MY SOUTHERN GIRL, continued in the tracking flight as the field took closer order, tracked outside of FIELD STUDY around the far turn, came into the lane four wide, remained in range to midstretch but flattened late. CHENTI settled near the rear inside into the first turn, continued near the rear inside down the back straight and into the far turn, went to a drive in upper stretch and improved between tiring horses. TANGO MIKE MIKE showed pace from the outset, briefly vied outside of BLUE CHAIR BAY, continued to vie outside of MAKI MONARCHY when that foe got through inside into the first turn, continued to vie outside that foe down the backstretch, pressed outside of that foe on the far turn, was turned back for good into the lane, and flattened. PRIMO CANARY chased two wide around the first turn, continued to chase toward the rear of midfield down the backstretch and into the far turn, shifted inward in upper stretch and had no rally. AMERICAN VISION settled toward the rear, improved mildly two wide on the far turn, was driven into the lane, but came up empty in the final furlong. MY SOUTHERN GIRL tracked the leaders outside of BLUE CHAIR BAY, was pushed along in the three to four path on the far turn but began to lose ground, and had no more for the drive. ZIPPY TOGA settled at the rear, raced two wide with the rear pair down the back straight and around the far turn and had no rally.
