Chart notes
BELTANDSUSPENDERS broke out then brushed the gate and was last away but broke with the body of the field, settled at the rear under coaxing, was ridden along while inside to the two path on the turn, angled to the four path while gaining outside the quarter-pole, turned into upper stretch under a drive, chased outside under a left-handed crop into the final sixteenth, gained gradually on the leader late, reached even terms for the lead about two strides from the finish and won the head-bob at the wire to narrowly prevail. B MY LADY was hustled from the gate then brushed with LORI'S DREAM, chased the pace on the inside of that opponent then in the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, pursued the pacesetter under a left-handed crop into the final sixteenth, gained gradually on that foe late then made a bid, reached even terms for the lead about two strides from the finish but was out-nodded on the line while getting a share of second. CREAM PUFF angled in while hustled to the front, showed the way on the inside, controlled the action on the turn, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole, came under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, switched to a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole, clung desperately to the front until the final two strides but was denied then had her head down on the line to share second. LORI'S DREAM was hustled from the gate then brushed with B MY LADY, chased the pace on the outside, moved from the four path to the three path early on the turn, dropped back back late on that bend, moved to the two path into upper stretch and tired.
