BITTERSWEET MEMORY went to the front while taken under restraint, showed the way on the inside while in hand, was asked some with three furlongs to run, responded well under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, shook off AMELIA IN AIR while put to a right-handed crop inside the furlong marker and held under strong urging. SELLONTHENEWS (GB) was taken back under restraint, rounded the first turn in the three path, was reserved while given cover, traveled around the far turn in the three path, was roused near the five-sixteenths pole, came into the stretch in the four path, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to just miss while able to get the place. MANDY STEPH angled in at the rear, went around the first turn in the two path, was unhurried at the back, navigated the far turn in the two path, was roused near the quarter-pole then swung into the stretch in the five path, rallied outside in the final furlong and closed with good energy to just get the show. AMELIA IN AIR stalked the pace on the outside in the two path, was given her cue outside the quarter-pole, battled outside the winner under a drive into the final furlong and was outfinshed then just lost the show. CELEBRATE raced in the three path on the first turn, settled outside without cover, was asked with three furlongs to run, chased in the three path on the far turn, pursued the vanguard while moving out some into the final furlong, dropped in outside the sixteenth-pole and lacked the needed kick. HUNTER CREEK was bit keen under restraint early then rated in the two path, came under a drive into the stretch and also lacked the needed kick. HARMONY MILL angled in early, saved ground while reserved towards the rear, was asked on the final turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and failed to threaten. ROYAL COUNTY DOWN was well placed on the inside, came under urging late on the backstretch, chased inside on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response.
