Chart notes
KARA FLASH was well rated early from just off the pace and saved ground then waited through the turn before splitting horses at the top of the stretch and drawing away. FAYE L. broke sharply and set the pace, was headed at the top of the stretch but ran on to hold place. MO PUMPKIN rated in the middle of the pack early then steadied behind horses nearing the 5/8 pole and dropped back before angling five wide into the stretch and gaining late. WICKEY BIBBY chased the pace while three wide early and contended for the lead to the 1/4 pole before fading a bit while getting out in the stretch. MARY CLAIRE was shuffled back nearing the 3/4 pole then steadied off the heels of LUCKY JUAN nearing the 5/8 pole, lacked room through the turn then angled six wide into the stretch but just raced evenly late. ACADIANA was void of early speed while saving ground and never threatened. LUCKY JUAN was very hard to handle for the rider early while running up on heels nearing the 5/8 pole before bothering both MO PUMPKIN and MARY CLAIRE then was asked while four wide into the turn but gave way in the stretch.
