Chart notes
WHOLELOTTADEAL pressed the early pace and contended through the turn before taking over at the top of the stretch and battled through the long drive, prevailing at the wire. GOMARKGO got shut off at the start by OCEAN VOYAGER then rushed to contention before angling five wide at the top of the stretch and finding a hole between horses, gaining late. ZIP AROUND got away alertly and chased the pace while three wide, contending through the turn then drifted out into the stretch and made a mild rally late. PAROLE DRAMA rated in the second flight early while boxed in between horses nearing the 1/2 pole then looked to move at the top of the stretch but was beaten to the spot by GOMARKGO before being asked at the 3/16 pole and ran on late. OCEAN VOYAGER broke outward, shutting off GOMARKGO at the start then moved up and battled for the early lead, showing speed for a half before giving way in the stretch. AZTECA STORM was reluctant to load into the gate then was void of early speed before angling five wide into the stretch but made no rally. AWESOME WILLIAM was allowed to settle early and saved ground but had no response when asked into the stretch.
