Chart notes

CUTLASS KING tracked from inside, came out five wide turning for home, edged past the final sixteenth. GRACE MET CUPID was quick to take the lead and set the pace just off the rail, was challenged near the sixteenth pole and outfinished. LICENSE TO STEAL broke outwardly, settled mid-pack off the inside, raced three to four wide throughout, was no match for the top pair but won the battle for show honors. HEAVENS HOUND bumped a rival at the start, was off the pace outside four wide into the turn, shifted in two deep midway on that bend, raced between runners in upper- to mid-stretch, was outfinished for third. ANCIENT MAN broke awkwardly, trailed near the inside, edged closer on the turn, angled four wide out of that bend and improved position. FROSTED WARRIOR stalked from outside, came into upper stretch seven wide, faded. TIGERSAURUS REX chased the leaders shifting in, saved ground on the turn, weakened in the stretch. AFTER MY BROTHER was bumped at the start, raced toward the back off the inside, swung six wide into upper stretch, failed to menace.
