Chart notes
PLENSA lunged at the start of the race and brushed with the gate then raced at the back of the field in the two path then made up some lost ground while coming out four wide and entering the upper tipped out around the field and circled while making a rally then drove past it's rivals and held to the wire. VOTE NO was void of any early speed and settled at the very back along the inside then followed PLENSA in their bid circling the field then surged up to the outside half a length short of the winner and finished on even terms. CLEVER MISCHIEF settled early then pressed the pace at the top of the hill from the three path then dueled for leadership and took command in the straight away but flattened out heading towards the wire while holding on to the show award. HIDING IN HONDURAS raced towards the back of the pack in the third flight positioned in the three to four path then angled out coming towards the bottom of the hill and came under coaxing while drifting to the inside but just needed more. I KNOW I KNOW settled off the pace a couple lengths behind the pack along the inside and was reserved until the upper and swung out wide off the bend nearing the final furlong and showed some kick but was too late. BABY MAX settled into the pack in the two path on the third flight and tipped out a bit coming into the upper and looked for an opening and found one late in the stretch then mildly improved. WEST HOLLYWOOD raced behind the pace in the second flight between rivals from the two to three path and kept on but weakened in the deep stretch. LAMBETH settled in the third flight along the inside and tipped out slightly coming into the stretch but never rallied. ANCIENT ROME was forward early and tracked the pace from the inside and kept on til the upper but gave way in the stretch. SMOKEY MANDATE set a clear early pace from the two path to inside then was pressured at the top of the hill before dueling with CLEVER MISCHIEF then conceded and faded turning towards home. FLYING MOHAWK tracked the pace from second flight in the four path then started to weaken in the upper and faded out.
