Chart notes
MIDNIGHT CONCERTO settled towards the rear on the inside, was asked near the quarter-pole, tipped to the two path into upper stretch then steadied awaiting room at the three-sixteenths pole, squeezed through between foes then made a bid, took the lead just inside the furlong marker, battled gamely to the finish and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. BEING BETTY acted-up just as the gate opened and was off slow, saved ground at the rear while inside to the two path, moved out to the four path late on the far turn, swung out to the seven path into upper stretch, rallied outside to make a bid in the final sixteenth, fought outside of two foes to the finish and just missed while narrowly able to get the place. SAIL WITH THE WIND was reserved in the two path, swung out to the five path into upper stretch, rallied to make a bid inside the furlong marker, battled between the top two late and just missed while clear for the show. AWESOME CZECH moved in towards the rear early, became rank behind a foe under restraint nearing the first turn, was reserved in the two to three path, lacked room behind a wall of horses while under urging in upper stretch, angled out while on her inside lead coming to the furlong marker, swapped to the proper lead while chasing behind horses outside the sixteenth-pole, came into the final sixteenth between horses and improved to just get the last spot in the superfecta. MARVELOUS MADISON went around the first turn in the two path, settled outside without cover, was asked in the three path on the far turn, came out to the six path into upper stretch, chased in the drive and just missed the superfecta. BERNIETAKESCHARGE dropped from the two path to the inside early on the first turn, settled in third position, was asked in the two to three path on the far turn, gained to make a bid in upper stretch, battled under a drive into the final sixteenth and was out-kicked. SPINNING COLORS showed speed on the inside of BROKEALLTHERULES, was taken back along the hedge early on the turn then moved to the two path, stalked outside on the backstretch, was given her cue in the two path on the far turn, made a bid between horses near the three-sixteenths pole, dropped back into the final sixteenth and weakened. BROKEALLTHERULES showed speed on the outside of SPINNING COLORS, went clear while dropping from the two path to the inside early on the first turn, showed the way while in hand, was asked near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage in upper stretch and gave way.
