Chart notes
STARSHIP BELMONT broke alertly to take command from the gate, opened a clear, well measured lead, set a well rated pace while maintaing the advantage the entire trip and went unchallenged. DOMINANT STRANGER broke a step slow, remained unhurried to be at the rear of the main body of the field, saved ground on the far turn to cut the corner and rallied steadily through the lane as second best. INANNA'S QUEST was well placed tracking the pacesetter from inside rival and lacked a closing kick going evenly through the lane to take the show. WHISPERING SEA stalked the pace from four wide through the turn and weakened in the lane fading from contention. UPPITY UP was outrun.
