Chart notes
READY MUNNY pulled down the backside to press the pace from three wide, took command on the bend opening a clear lead without being called upon, kicked away in upper stretch and maintained the advantage under a hand ride. EXPLOSIVE RUN reserved off the pace on the backside, closed the gap on the turn, was put to a drive nearing the quarter pole and finished willingly chasing the winner down the lane. QUEEN'S QUILL unhurried early, made a steady advance angling five wide to the clear and put in a mild bid through the stretch to be along for the show. FLORENTINE LADY was slow early to be the trailer and made a late gain in the stretch passing weaker. MAYHEM broke sharply to set the pace under constant pressure and gave way steadily midway on the turn. PRIVATE TEXT showed brief speed, dropped from the contention on the turn and never threatened.
