Chart notes
MY BOY ROCKY tracked the leaders from the inside to be well placed turning for home, angled three wide in mid-stretch splitting rivals and surged late in the drive to be up in time. EXPRESSO BAY set the pace under constant pressure dueling with BOTITA the entire way, battled to the wire and was caught in deep stretch in a game effort. HIGHTAIL FOX stalked the pace from three wide through the turn, rallied steadily five wide in the lane to be gaining late. BOTITA pressed the pace vying for the lead to upper stretch, briefly got his nose in front down the lane and weakened in the final sixteenth to be outfinished for the major awards. THIRTEEN G'S unhurried to be the early trailer and rallied in the lane with a grinding bid to close the gap in the final furlong. CAN OF CORN went evenly failing to menace.
