Chart notes
HEAVENVILLE was sent aggressively to clear the field early, maintained the advantage through the turn while being confidently ridden, was set down in upper stretch and opened up through the late stages under handling. MCDUDE tracked inside of two rivals to the stretch, gave a determined chase to the winner through the lane but could make no impression, finishing well clear of the next horse. PERFECT MAGIC tracked the leader between foes to the stretch, was unable to go with the top two through the late stages but managed to hold clear for third. BLUE LIGHT broke on top but ceded the lead, raced three deep in the tracking group to the turn, had some trouble changing leads in the stretch and flattened out. GUNFLASH settled near the back and lacked a finish. AARON was outpaced near the back of the field, made a mild middle move, but was unable to produce a late bid. BIG BERNIE gave a dull effort and was never involved. NEW TRACK RECORD.
