Chart notes
LINCHPIN STORM allowed to settle inside early, shifted out three wide when leaving the backstretch, was roused four wide, rallied gradually and edged away. CONCRETE COWBOY contested the pace while six to seven wide, fanned three wide in the final turn, was under heavy handling and was worn down. MUDINATOR vied inside of MENDELJOHN leaving the gate, dropped back in the far turn, and rallied belatedly. MENDELJOHN (IRE) vied outside early, attended the pace along the rail, and gave way late stretch. PARKING PERMIT trailed early and lodged a late bid. STONE CARVER pressed the early pace from between foes, and yielded in the stretch.
