Chart notes
R ISLAND JEWEL set the pace from between rivals early, took a short lead into the turn, kicked away turning for home and drew off through the lane unchallenged as much the best. R ONE WAY reserved in hand off the battling pacesetters early to be the trailer in the short field, rallied with a steady bid on the turn to chase the winner and ran-on willingly as second best. MON COQUETTE pressed the pace from the rail for the first three-sixteenths, dropped back settling off the dueling leaders and failed to respond when called upon travelling evenly. BOOTS dueled with the winner down the backside on the lead, could not keep pace with that one through the turn and retreated to the rear.
