Chart notes
SPIES LIKE US in mid pack while racing off the inside, patiently ridden through the second bend, two path and in some traffic entering the stretch, split foes, set down, late burst to be up in time. FIELDS OF GREY unhurried for six furlongs while saving ground, bottled up in some traffic upper stretch, saw the rail open up approaching the furlong grounds, called on for run, finished willingly up the inside to gain the place. MESHACH back off the pace while off the inside, made a big four move into contention late in the final turn, took over upper stretch, clear, could not contain the top two late while between that pair at the wire. I GOT STREET SENSE settled off the pace and the inside, raced three wide up the backstretch under a light hold, four wide through the second turn, displayed a modest amount of late interest to better his position a bit. TORTOLE broke sharp, with the pace while maintaining inside position into the first turn, dueled in the run up the backstretch, fell off the other speed far turn to lose position, ran on briefly exiting the final turn along the inside then gradually weakened in the final furlong. COURT NIGHT last away, remained devoid of any early speed, followed the runner up through along the rail into the stretch, also encountered some traffic then improved position while moved out a bit. AWESOME LAW in the second flight off the inside and between horses, gradually weakened the final three furlongs. BISHOP MOON broke out and back, lacked speed, picked off some faltering rivals through the lane while never a serious threat. STARS ON THE WATER four wide when off the pace through the first turn, moved closer in the three path second bend, faltered in the stretch. LAWSON'S LEGACY in the second flight while racing three wide, remained in a forward position through the second bend, had little left for the drive. CHIEF BALL vied early between foes, dueled in the run up the backstretch, drew out to a larger advantage far turn, stopped through the stretch. NYQUIST RHYTHM was finished early, well back.
