PIONEER PRINCE stalked along the rail, challenged from inside past the nine-sixteenths pole, cleared leaving the backstretch, showed the way two wide into the stretch, drifted out while meeting a bid from SHADY TIGER and turned that rival in the final sixteenth. SHADY TIGER rated in the two path, angled in and moved up from the rail on the backstretch, was closest in pursuit of the leader through the far turn, took aim in the three path turning for home, drew alongside PIONEER PRINCE while getting floated out in upper stretch, fought to the sixteenth pole and got turned away. BIG JUANITO tracked four deep around the clubhouse turn, drew closer six then five deep on the backstretch, fell out of range into the far turn, driven four wide into the lane and was able outkick CRYPTO RIDE for the show honors. CRYPTO RIDE stalked four then three wide early, bid four then three deep on the backstretch, could not keep up with the leader approaching the far turn, chased three then two wide around the bend and got edged for third. MICI'S EXPRESS chased four deep for a bit then got put in tight entering the first turn, stalked three then four wide, angled in on the far turn, chased two wide into the lane and failed to menace. D DAY SKY trailed in the two path around the first turn, angled outside a rival on the backstretch, rounded the far turn four then five wide and failed to menace. GEOMETRY followed in range three deep on the first turn, pressed five then four deep in the middle stages, chased into the far turn, dropped back around the bend and tired. I'M A BAD BOY raced up close three then two wide, fell out of range leaving the backstretch, dropped back to last on the far turn, entered the lane in the five path and had little left for the drive. ARKADELPHIA stepped to the front and moved inside, came under threat from both sides on the backstretch, lost the lead at the half-mile, chased into the far turn, dropped back around the bend and gave way.
