Chart notes
EARLY ENCORE vied three deep to the turn up the backstretch, cleared inner pair and crossed over with three furlongs remaining, challenged by FUMANO'S FIRE at the five-sixteenths pole, turned that rivals away with a quarter mile left to run, drew off into the stretch and widened under right handed encouragement. NET PAR was antsy in the gate, stumbled badly at the dispatch, steadied past the half-mile pole on the inside, angled out and advanced three wide on the turn, rallied into second in upper stretch, could not make any headway on the winner late and held the place. CUPID COWBOY tracked from out of range in the early going, raced along the inside early on the turn then shifted to the two path at the three-eighths pole, angled out at the top of the stretch and kept trying down the lane for a clear third. EMPIRE OF ASH ridden toward the rear then trailed up the backstretch, entered the turn in the two path, came four wide into the stretch and passed tired rivals. FUMANO'S FIRE showed speed between rivals then took a stalking position behind the top trio, challenged EARLY ENCORE from outside at the five-sixteenths pole, got turned away late on the bend and faded out of contention. LITTLE KING vied inside a pair of rivals in the early going, took up inside EARLY ENCORE early on the turn, chased a bit off the rail to the stretch and tired. PRIME SPLASH fought for the lead between rivals in the opening stages, failed to keep up into the turn, dropped back on the inside and tired.
