Chart notes

MEDORO prominent early four deep leaving the chute, took a stalking position in the two path, bid three deep midway around the far turn, dueled outside THOUGHT PROCESS into the stretch, gained a slim advantage with furlong remaining, dug in the last sixteenth and bested the runner-up. THOUGHT PROCESS pressed the pace from outside in hand, lost touch with the leader at the nine-sixteenths pole, confronted PURA VIDA PRINCESA at the five-sixteenths pole then vied between runners, put a head in front with a quarter mile remaining, dueled inside MEDORO entering the lane, lost command at the eighth pole, fought back gamely into the last sixteenth but had to settle for second best. BOJACA BLESSING stalked the speed from inside, followed behind PURA VIA PRINCESA into the far turn, shifted to the two path late on the bend, chased in range into deep stretch, lacked the needed late kick but was able to hold off BALTIC FIRE to earn the show honors. BALTIC FIRE made light contact with inner rival at the start, laid off the pace on the inside, moved into range leaving the backstretch, rounded the far turn two then three wide, kept on down the lane but could not get by BOJACA BLESSING for third. WHISKEY DECISION unhurried in the opening stages, drew closer from inside on the far turn, moved off the fence at the top of the lane and lacked a rally. CANTO DELLA TERRA (IRE) bumped lightly with BALTIC FIRE leaving the gate, became rank in the chute and finally settled between rivals nearing the finish line for the first time, traveled a bit off the rail into the clubhouse turn, traveled outside a rival on the backstretch, angled four wide around the far turn and weakened. FIBONACCIS RIDE broke out and bumped, sat off the pace in the two path, raced three deep in the middle stages, returned to the two path for the far turn and failed to rally when called upon. FIRENZE FLAVOR got knocked into outer rival leaving the gate, trailed outside a rival then in the two path, saved ground along the rail on the far turn, stayed inside in the lane and was never a factor. VINCEY GIRL took a light bump in the beginning, raced three then two wide near the back of the pack, came under a ride three deep on the far turn, moved out in the lane and lacked further response. PURA VIDA PRINCESA took control from inside, showed the way with THOUGH PROCESS applying pressure, drew clear at the nine-sixteenths pole, challenged by a pair of rivals on the far turn, lost the lead at the quarter pole and gave way in the stretch.
