Chart notes
P R STITCH tracked the top pair late on the backstretch, advanced to engage SAYUCAN for the lead late on the turn, vied in upper stretch then cleared command and drew off convincingly. PEPPER MILL was forwardly placed soon after the start, sustained a three wide into the lane and got up late to take place. SAYUCAN sprinted to the lead at the start, led the way then took on the challenge of PR STITCH late on the turn, fought back along the inside turning for home, could not match strides approaching the furlong marker, weakened and got caught late for place. DEMIDANU broke poorly and spotted the field about five lengths, was ridden along in the back, made some headway late on the turn, came four to five wide into the lane and failed to kick on. SQUEEZE THE DAY was not too far back early on, failed to respond around the turn and steadily retreated.
