Chart notes
RAINONTHESCARECROW stalked the pace to the far turn, closed the gap rallying four wide, took command in upper stretch and kicked clear. GRANDE DUNES slow early to be the trailer, commenced an extended rally leaving the half mile pole to steadily gain on the leaders and finished with good interest as second best. WHITBURN tracked the leaders from mid-pack and finished with a mild bid to be along for the show. WINDHURST set the pace under steady pressure to the quarter pole and gave way in the lane. CASH FOR WHISKEY pressed the pace for three-quarters and flattened out. HEGSETH was not a factor.
