Chart notes
NELIDA was unhurried early to be the trailer down the backside, rallied on the turn in early drive to close the gap, battled with the runner-up in the final furlong and prevailed in deep stretch. EQUINAMOUS prompted the pace to the final turn, rallied to take the lead turning for home, went clear briefly and was outfinished by the winner. JASSAI reserved off the pace to be the trailer midway on the far turn, angled seven wide and showed good late interest in the lane. CLAIRE'S DARLING set the pace under mild pressure, had no answer when challenged and gave way in the stretch. UNDERGRAD showed brief speed to chase in contention to the far turn and came up empty dropping to the rear.
