Chart notes
BERNIN HOT broke fast while bobbling slightly then angled in quickly while going to the front, showed the way in the two to three path, responded well when asked at the quarter-pole, held a clear advantage under a drive into the final sixteenth and just held under strong urging. FRIZZANTE bumped with LATE CALL just after the start then was pinched back in tight quarters, dropped from the four path to the two path on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along in the three then four path for most of the far turn, dropped to the two path late on that bend, rallied in the stretch and closed strongly to just miss while clear for the place. CASTLE CHAOS was hustled from the gate, dropped to the three path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the far turn, was driven into the stretch in the four path, kept on in pursuit of the winner in the stretch and earned the show. GLEN AIRY checked along the rail early, moved from the inside to the two path on the first turn, settled further out in the track on the backstretch, chased in the four path on the far turn, came into the stretch in the five path, pursued the winner in the drive and lacked the needed kick while able to get the last spot in the superfecta. METATRON'S MUSE stayed out in the five path on the first turn, dropped back on the backstretch, was urged along in the two path on the far turn and failed to threaten. PEEK moved in early, shifted from the two path to the three path on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along in the three then four path on the far turn and failed to respond. LATE CALL broke awkwardly then bumped with FRIZZANTE and was pinched back, moved from the five path to the three path on the first turn, settled well off the pace under some urging, saved ground on the far turn and also failed to respond. THREE TECHNIQUE was hustled from the gate then angled in fast, tracked the leader on the inside, dropped back under urging on the far turn and faltered.
