HULLABALOO RAY RAY got bumped at the start by ROUGHKIN, who broke outwards, chased three then two wide under a ride nearing the quarter pole, went seven wide into upper stretch, ran on to secure the place honors. MOTAWAALI chased four then three wide in closest aim of the leader coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to run, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. DAMAVAND four wide in pursuit, came under coaxing three furlongs out, went seven wide into upper stretch, improved position to the finish. HOOKED chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch just off the pace, tucked three to four wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths pole, swung seven to eight wide into upper stretch, lugged in from the three-sixteenths to inside the eighth pole to be along the rail and weakened in the late stages. CLOSING SURGE chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn under urging from the seven-sixteenths pole, angled in to spin three wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals to the finish. LOUISIANA BABY coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths marker, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. BELLISSIMO D'ORO broke in at the start and was corrected, chased six then five wide under a ride from three furlongs out, went eight to nine wide into upper stretch, tired. ROAD TO RAVELLO chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn under encouragement from the five-sixteenths marker, continued three wide for home and tired. ROUGHKIN broke out at the start bumping HULLABALOO RAY RAY, chased along the inside and was bumped by I'M AMERICA five furlongs from home, came under urging with seven-sixteenths remaining, angled out five wide into upper stretch and tired. I'M AMERICA stumbled badly at the start pecking the ground and lost his lane to DARGHAM, crossed to chase just off the inside bumping ROUGHKIN near the five furlong marker, continued in the two path coming under a ride with seven-sixteenths to go, cut the corner into upper stretch and tired. SHAHNAMEH bobbled at the break, chased four wide pushed along from the seven-sixteenths pole, tipped six wide into upper stretch and made no impact.
