Chart notes
HAPPY PRINCE stalked the pacesetter down the backside while well held two wide, edged closer early on the turn to assume command midway on the bend, kicked clear in upper stretch while still in hand and drew off when given a reminder down the lane. EQUATOR rated in mid-pack to the far turn, was set to an early drive approaching the quarter pole, could not gain on the winner while finishing willingly to be second best. BESTBALL tracked the leaders from the rail to be well placed travelling with the winner down the backstretch and lacked a closing kick finishing evenly. SHIRLEY'S BOYZ broke outward bumping rival leaving the gate, dropped to the rear of the field lacking early foot and passed tiring rivals in the lane. GRAY OBSESSION jostled between rivals at the start, raced near the rear of the field throughout and never posed a threat. LOAN ME A DIME set the pace on a clear lead, had no answer when engaged on the turn and tired coming home.
