Chart notes
ECLAIR N TOT broke alertly, showed the way past the wire the first turn, continued to set the pace through some soft fractions the middle half mile, responded when confronted through the second turn, cut the corner into the lane to extend a small margin then kicked clear to the wire under steady handling. BROWN'S HARMONY within striking distance just off the inside first turn, moved closer before a half, challenged between horses second turn, fell back off the winner entering the straight, drifted out with a furlong remaining, fully extended to hold the runner up spot late. DADDY'S LAST SWEET off a step slow, raced back off the early pace while three wide through the first turn, dropped to the inside, closer in the second turn while saving ground, followed the winner into the stretch, shifted out a bit, dueled late for second, outkicked. LONGSHOT BABY prompted the winner from the three path for five furlongs, lodged a bid three wide late in the final bend, weakened through the stretch. OUR CASTLE QUEEN off a step slow, was always outrun while saving ground.
