Chart notes
CALI DREAMIN pressed the issue up the backstretch three wide, continued to apply pressure through the turn, fell back into the lane, idled past the furlong marker when chasing, late push to rebid late outside the leader, up in time. FAST VERDICT last to the three away, trailed out of the chute, early move to join the fray between horses, vied while holding a narrow advantage through the turn, shook clear when straightened for home, maintained the advantage until shortening strides late, caught in the final jump. CAJUN CYCLONE dueled out of the chute, narrowly showed the way up the backstretch, headed midway on the turn, roused late in the bend, had little left for the stretch drive.
