Chart notes
NIGHT NURSE set a fast pace on a clear lead to the top of the lane and drew off convincingly when called upon relishing the wet surface. ROCK N REWARD stalked the leaders through the turn to be well placed and finished well in the lane while no match for the winner. THESE APPLES tracked the leaders into the turn, closed the gap on the bend to be prominent turning for home and finished evenly flattening out in the stretch. AWESOME EMPRESS reluctant to load, was slow early on to be well off the pace and showed some interest coming home passing weaker. ANHINGA prompted the pace chasing the winner on the turn and gave way at the top of the stretch fading from contention. TRIPLE R RATED broke awkwardly giving the field several lengths, rushed up to midpack down the backside and finished evenly failing to menace. ANGEL OF HARLEM was not a factor.
