PROUD WORDS pressed the early speed, rallied in the stretch, prevailed late under firm handling. VADORA was never far back, saved all the ground and rallied for place. GAMAY contended throughout and finished willingly. GONE A LIL WEST set the pace until mid stretch, then weakened. LADY SWEET raced four wide and was no threat. MARTINEZ MOJO showed little, trailed.
