Chart notes
BORIS BADENOV broke alertly from the outside, cleared and worked way toward the inside through the first turn, rated in the run up the backstretch, continued under light restraint through the final bend, let out a notch for the drive, maintained a daylight advantage to the wire while being kept to task. COLLATOR settled well off the pace inside, continued to save ground into the far turn, advanced to race closest to the winner into the lane, shifted out a bit for the run to the wire and was slowly closing the gap on that same foe late, well clear of the others. SIR THOMAS TEAL broke with the winner inside that one, chased that rival off the inside the middle half, allowed the runner up the rail late in the final bend, weakened steadily through the lane in proving no match for the top pair. IKNOWYOUCANWAIT one paced while racing back and in the two path, failed to muster a rally when called on for the drive. FORT BULL off a beat slow, continued to lack any early speed, saved ground to no avail in never threatening.
