Chart notes
PRETTY MISS DOLLY back off the early pace along the inside despite some encouragement, moved out, advanced three wide and challenged late in the turn, gained a narrow advantage into the stretch, long drive to the wire, proved best under firm handling. JUSTICETHEGHOST difficult to load, broke well along the inside, dueled then was shuffled back along the rail into the turn, moved out, came on the outside for the drive, rebid outside the winner with less than a furlong remaining but could not get by that one in the late goind. SOME GIVEN EVENT last to leave, raced back early and outside, quickly moved up three wide to challenge midway on the turn, vied into the lane then weakened the final furlong. KELLYKOZ broke well, narrowly showed the way into the turn, continued to vie midway on the turn then gave way with a quarter to run. CAPTAIN WINDY fell back to trail after the start and was never a factor.
