Chart notes

WELL LIT tracked the pacesetter outside in the beginning, was in tight due to the frontrunner drifting out clipping heels between foes stumbling early on into the backstretch, tenaciously moved inside on the rail at the half coming to the leader, battled on the fence head to head up front through the turn, shaved the corner getting a slight advantage in upper stretch and under a vigorous ride continued to stave off that outside rival for the gutsy win in the final furlong. TRANQUILLO broke sharply getting the early lead, drifted outwards entering the backstretch under a snug hold dictating terms inside on the front end, was forced to quicken outside two wide with the eventual winner rallying up the rail at the three furlongs marker, dueled outside in a match race throughout the turn, relinquished the lead two wide in upper stretch, kept digging in down the entire lane having the race to themselves in the stretch running but was denied at the finish line with the winner unyielding having a head in front in the late going. STEELE TOWN hopped up at the break trailing along the backside, started to come with a run but had to be checked leaving the seven sixteenths pole when just starting to come with a run outside while the inside rival drifted out, quickly regained his stride passing that individual outside in midturn, kept on fighting in the three path trying to get to the front duo through the stretch but just had to much to overcome and finished up a solid third in a four horse race all things considered. STELLA POINT prompted the pace three deep in the beginning, could not match strides with the front pair who started to quicken the tempo at the half, drifted three wide pushing a rival out entering the turn, dropped back having no run to be at the rear by the five sixteenths pole and lost touch in upper stretch cantering across the finish line.
