Chart notes

FLEET BROTATO saved ground around the first turn, chased the leader up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path, gained ground between horses in midstretch and pulled clear. BEARS' D raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening half mile, swung out to the four path coming around the second bend and improved position in the lane. THE MAN THE MYTH brushed with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, saved ground early, led the way up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and gave way in the stretch. JET SET REBEL brushed with the horse to his outside at the start, saved ground around the first bend, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming off the turn and was never a threat. WYLES raced in the two path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, began a bid from the three path coming around the far turn and flattened out in the lane.
