Chart notes
HAPPY DANCER raced off the pace up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground on the outside to pull clear. AERO STAR led the way up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path, dueled in upper stretch and was caught late. THEALLIGATORHUNTER chased the leader early, challenged from the three path coming around the turn, dueled in upper stretch and gave way late. TOWNER TOO raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and made up some ground in the lane. SUTHERLAND raced in the middle of the pack on the outside through the opening quarter, navigated the turn from the three path and made no bid. ARROGANCY trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the bend and was never a factor.
