Chart notes

STONE COLD FLEX raced close to the pace, rallied on the turn, assumed command and drew clear under urging. EPIC LUCK raced close to the pace towards the outside, closed steadily and got up for place. MASAKADO was checked after the start, void of early speed, swung wide into the stretch and finished well to earn show. STRIKING SPARKS raced close to the pace along the inside, dropped back into the turn, put in a steady bid and didn't have enough late. GUAPONESS moved up to vie three across, assumed command on the turn, weakened in the drive and dropped further back when avoiding a fallen rival. GUYS TRIP was in close, through after a half and faded. EL CHISPAZO set a pressured pace, dropped back into the turn and gave way. GOOD AS HE GETS was not a factor. ADMIRAL MO fell, lost his rider and was transported off the track via an equine ambulance. THE STEWARDS' POSTED AN INQUIRY CONCERNING THE STRETCH DRIVE. NO CHANGE WAS MADE.
