Chart notes
HIGH LATEEN raced forwardly along the inside fence, lodged a bid on the far turn, responded to brisk left-handed pressure, hopped the tracks made by the starting gate in the late going and held on. REDLAND REBELS gained the early lead, was challenged on the far turn, dug in for the stretch run and was worn down. PARIS SURPRISE had a wide trip, entered the stretch while six wide and stayed on. JUNCTION ROAD chased between foes, got outpaced far on the turn, went six wide into the stretch and managed a mild rally. CHAYTON reserved while five wide, was urged on the far turn and lacked the needed bid. ACT A FOOL forced the pace while three wide, stalked up the back stretch run and weakened in the stretch.
