Chart notes
R DELRAY seized command at the outset, forged clear into the stretch and was unchallenged under intermittent pressure. STEP SLOW off a step slowly, recovered to chase the pacesetter, proved no match but stayed on to finish second best. SUNDAY SONG saved ground, commenced a bid on the turn, kept on while racing closest to the inside in the stretch. CANDY ROAD chased the pace in traffic and displayed mild late interest. EMERGING LEADER (ARG) raced in striking position while three wide and faded. G SPEEDY never involved. RULEROFTHEUNIVERSE was outpaced while six wide, moved seven wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. EXCUSES was always outrun.
