Chart notes
ESSEX SERPENT stalked early then swept to the lead about the nine-sixteenths quickly moving clear, found more in the stretch and extended the advantage then held safe. BAXLEY broke a half-step slowly, was strongly urged but lacking speed, shifted in heading into the turn, saved ground on that bend, came out a few paths for the stretch then shifted back in, kept on inside to get up for place. FOXTROTANNA settled off the pace inside, advanced two to three wide between foes past the seven-sixteenths, came out further for the drive, ran on but lost second late. LUCKY SCORE dropped back early to trail well off the pace, swung six to seven wide into upper stretch, ran on to get the nod to round out the super. JET SWEEP JOE broke a half-step slowly, raced off the pace two to three wide on the turn, swung wider for the drive, shifted out eight deep past the furlong marker, kept on but needed more. HUNT MASTER settled off the pace outside a rival, advanced with that one three to four deep on the turn, flattened out. CARA CARA moved quickly to the early lead, was overtaken after three-sixteenths by the eventual winner, chased that one near the inside, faded.
