Chart notes

STUNNINGLY PERFECT tracked the frontrunner outside another at the start, sat all alone in the third spot with the field quite spaced out at the half, was roused at the five sixteenths pole starting to reel in the stablemate up top, closed in sharply widest in the five path at the top of the stretch, got a head in front outside two rivals by the sixteenth pole and cleared away when crossing the finish line for the victory. PRINCESS ORLAITH broke in at the start but was quickly corrected by the rider, had the three path down the backstretch settling near the rear, started to reach for more ground on the fence passing an outside foe in midturn, shaved the corner getting into contention turning for home, bid for the lead inside at the furlong pole but could not match strides with the winner late while comfortably second best at the wire. TWEETERNITY was unhurried at the tail end down the backside, had the two path well removed from the rest of the field with three eighths from home, had the fence finding her feet at the quarter pole, moved to the three path full of run staying on the wrong lead down the lane and still surged in deep stretch to get up on the last jump outside for the show money. CHAMPAGNE SUNDAY had runners on either side sitting in midfield leaving the gate, was forced to angle outwards avoiding traffic entering the backstretch, settled into stride once again watching the pacesetter at the half, moved in boldly outside two wide at the quarter pole, seized control in the four path with a furlong from the prize but was outfinished between horses in the late going and settled for only a minor placing in the end. WHITEMUDWEST was forwardly placed inside at the beginning, had to be steadied sharply getting impeded by the loose runner leaving the chute, recovered somehow, with the jockey showing great horsemanship just to get back on course still in the race at the half, regressed two wide around the turn, trailed in the four path turning for home and was wrapped up in the final furlong. AWESOME GRACE had the early lead outside, was hard held getting off the fence letting the loose horse go ahead at the five-furlong marker, was well in front with the field understandably spread out around the turn due to all the early commotion but continued to roll along up top setting a rapid pace, had the two path clinging onto the front end at the top of the stretch with outside foes bearing down and had little left in the tank folding between horses at the furlong marker. SARAYU pressed the pace leaving the gate inside, ducked inwards at the gap dislodging the rider and walked off. STEWARD'S GENERAL INQUIRY LEAVING THE CHUTE RESULTED IN NO CHANGE
