Chart notes
GOOSE HUNTER tracked the leaders settling off the pace down the backstretch, rallied midway on the final turn circling on the outside, closed the best from six wide as the balance of the field flattened out and drew off in the final sixteenth convincingly. DUEL FUEL set the pace on a well rated, clear lead to the far turn, responded to battle through the lane, was no match for the closing winner late and held well to retain the place. GLIDING AFLEET stalked the pace down the backstretch, rallied to loom on the bend, continued to grind to be prominent midway down the lane and was outkicked late. I'M NO ANGEL prompted the pace for five-eighths, rallied on the turn to threaten, battled in the lane to take a brief lead at the eighth pole and weakened late in the drive. KEYSTONE HANK lunged at the start to give the field several lengths, trailed to the top of the lane and showed good interest in the stretch. YADI rated in mid-pack down the backside, made a steady advance on the turn to threaten in mid-stretch and flattened out in the final furlong unable to sustain the bid. BEACH HOLIDAY failed to menace. HAWKS CREEK was not a threat.
