A.'S DANCER broke sharply, dueled inside of ROCKIN POWERHOUSE, was engaged to the outside by JACKFIRE approaching the quarter pole, drifted out to the center of the track while making the turn for home, carrying JACKFIRE out with him, continued to battle gamely inside of that foe down the lane while drifting inward, and got the nod. JACKFIRE tracked the pace three wide, began to improve three wide past the three eighths, engaged outside of T. A.'S DANCER approaching the quarter pole, was forced out when that foe blew the turn for home, continued to fight on gamely while drifting gradually inward, but missed the bob. J. L. BREAK chased midpack, saved ground around the turn, was driven into the lane and continued to chase on, was driven again past the furlong mark and chased on mildly between for show. NOBEL NONSENSE chased between FUN LOVIN GUY and JACKFIRE early, settled back between horses near the seven sixteenths chased two wide around the turn, shifted three wide into the lane, shifted further out and chased on mildly. ROCKIN POWERHOUSE was reluctant to load and anxious in the gate, dueled inside of T. A.'S DANCER, continued to vie inside of that foe around the turn, floated out near the center of the course while turning for home, battled under a drive inside of T. A.'S DANCER and JACKFIRE to near the furlong mark and flattened out. FUN LOVIN GUY was urged inside early, tracked the leading pair, continued to track while saving ground on the turn, offered a rally inside in upper stretch but weakened in the final furlong. MARQ LOANTREE settled toward the rear inside of BAND OF SONS, saved ground around the turn, was driven approaching the quarter pole and lacked the needed kick to gain contention. BAND OF SONS broke out and bumped GLORIOUS LIAISON in the opening strides, settled toward the rear outside of MARQ LOANTREE, was driven two wide on the turn and had no kick in the lane. IRISH LIAISON settled toward the rear, was pushed along in the three path on the turn, drifted out under a drive in the lane and lacked the needed kick. IMA COMPLEX GUY chased outside of J. L. BREAK early, continued near the middle of a strung-out field in the four to five path in the turn and proved empty in the lane. GLORIOUS LIAISON was bumped by BAND OF SONS in the opening strides, settled at the rear, trailed in the four to five path on the turn, was driven approaching the stretch and offered no response. THE TRAINER OF JACKFIRE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL, ALLEGING INTERFERENCE BY T. A.'S DANCER IN THE TURN FOR HOME. UPON REVIEW, STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED T. A.'S DANCER FROM FIRST TO SECOND FOR DRIFTING AND HERDING JACKFIRE OUT, THUS COSTING HIM A BETTER PLACING.
